Mouth watering, soft, flavorful meatballs with a twist of Indian spices at your finger tips!
Follow the recipe.
1 lb ground meat (chicken beef or lamb)
1 small onion, cubed
4 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated cheese of your choice (Parmesan goes well)
1/4 cup fried onions (secret ingredient)
1 green chili
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin powder
1 tsp. garam masala powder
1 tsp. turmeric
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp. lemon juice
Small bunch of cilantro or basil
Set your oven to 350 deg. F
In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients- ground meat, cubes onion, grated garlic, breadcrumbs, cheese, fried onions, powdered spices, lemon and chopped cilantro.
Make them into balls using an ice cream scoop (gives them the perfect shape and size!). Align them on a cookie sheet. Spray with non-stick spray and bake them in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Keep an eye on them towards the last 5-10 minutes. Once they start browning, take them out and let them cool.
Delicious, hot meatballs ready to serve!
